Application for Research Grants-In-Aid is open to any Graduate  
Student enrolled in a doctoral or masters program in the Graduate  
School of Arts and Sciences and the School of Engineering.   Awards  
are competitive and decisions will be based on clarity of the  
proposal, significance of the proposal to the scholarly activities of  
the applicant and need.  All money is for the express purpose of  
promoting graduate student research.  The maximum award is for $700.   
The guidelines and application form for the 2007-2008 Graduate  
Student Research Awards are attached and they are also available from  
the Office of the Dean, Graduate School of Arts & Sciences, Ballou
