Just a few tips on registering:
Most course numbers for Child Development on the Fall 2007 Course
Offerings and Descriptions sheet contain six digits. The fist four
digits are the course number, and anything following is the section
number (whether it be a number or a letter of the alphabet).
If you are registering for an independent study, please be sure to
register under the correct section number. Each faculty member has
his or her own section number for the following courses:
CD141 Independent Study CD243 Special Topics (Fall)
CD232 Graduate Internship CD244 Special Topics (Spring)
CD236 Doctoral Internship(Fall) CD245 Thesis (Fall)
CD237 Doctoral Internship(Spring) CD245 Thesis(Spring)
CD238 Teaching Internship CD297 Doctoral Dissertation (F)
CD240 Directed Research(Fall) CD298 Doctoral Dissertation(S)
CD241 Directed Research(Spring)
The above are considered One-on-One courses.
If you plan to have a title show on your transcript for your
independent study, you must not register online for that course.
You'll need to get a One-On-One Course Form from our CD website, fill
it out and return it to Justina Clayton in Room 161 at Eliot-
Pearson. This sheet must be signed by you and by your advisor. Be
sure to read the instructions before filling out the form.
